1. Marrying too young
We can see this everywhere around us, people get married too young, and often it’s not such a good idea. The best example of this in Hollywood is the marriage between Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe. Their marriage lasted for eight years and even though it ended ingloriously, the famous actress said this: “I learned a lot in marriage, it was a great chance to realize what it means to be a wife and what marriage really represents. It was something completely different than I expected”.
2. Lack of personal satisfaction
Many Hollywood couples have to face this problem, but people that got most media attention are Brad Pitt and Jenifer Aniston. Their marriage lasted for five years and many considered them as one of the prettiest couples in Hollywood. They looked like a perfect match, but something went wrong. The actor admitted that he wasn’t happy in the marriage and that he smoked marijuana often because they were pretending to have a connection that wasn’t really there. Shortly after, as we all know, it ended abruptly, and Brad got together with Angelina Jolie.
This is the reason why some of the famous people ruin their connection, but it is also one of the most common reasons why ordinary people end their marriage. Whether you’re famous or not, a lack of trust will ruin your relationship. The best example of this in Hollywood is the marriage of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The ex-California governor’s marriage lasted for 25 years, from 1986 to 2011. Even though they were together for a long period of time, it was later uncovered that Arnold was cheating all along with their maid. They even got a son together.
Even though it doesn’t seem very logical, but some people want independence in their marriage. We can see this best in the relationship between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Numerous tabloids stated that the main reason for their separation was the actor’s huge desire to be fully involved in the church of Scientology. Katie Holmes confirmed this later and she added that she is finally ready to go for her life goals. Obviously, her life goals were completely different from the life goals of her husband.
5. Lack of love
People often forget to nurture their love and they spend less and less time with each other. Instead of trying to devote themselves completely to their relationship, to deal with the issue, they completely lose interest and their marriage is doomed. A great example is the marriage of Madonna and Guy Ritchie. Madonna said:” it was all great in the beginning, but as time passed, romance got lost and I wondered how much longer I’ll be able to take it”. Their marriage lasted form 2000. to 2008.
